Energy agreements between China & G20 members

(2014-11-17)With China and the United States representing more than 40 percent of global emissions, the two countries signed a joint agreement during APEC meeting in Beijing, with each setting a new time frame to curb greenhouse gas emissions and boost cleaner energy use.

The gas agreement signed between Russia and China in May may help China reach the goal as Russia will start providing China with 38 billion cubic meters of natural gas annually from 2018.
China and the UK say they will reduce emissions while enhancing energy security by investing in nuclear power. The two countries have signed "landmark agreement" confirming that Chinese companies will be able to operate power stations in the UK.

China and Canada have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to step up collaboration in civilian nuclear energy, including the development of advanced fuel reactors and exports to third markets.
