Background:
Adapting to Climate Change in China (ACCC) is a major collaborative project between China, the UK and Switzerland, doing pioneering policy research on climate change adaptation. The 3-year project focuses on improving the understanding of climate change impacts in a range of sectors in China, including agriculture, water resources, disaster risk reduction and human health. Impact assessments will then be used to develop evidence-based policy at provincial and national level. ACCC aims to share knowledge developed in China as widely as possible with developing countries around the world.
