On April 8,2016, tripartite conference on “ GEF/UNDP-enabling china to prepare its third national communication to the UNFCCC” was held in Beijing. Related officials and experts from UNDP, Department of Climate Change, NDRC, Ministry of Foreign Affair, Ministry of Finance, Bureau of Statistical,Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Environment Protection, Ministry of Agriculture, Bureau of Forestry, Energy Research Institute of NDRC attended the meeting. It was presided over by Jiang Zhaoli, Deputy Director of the Department of Climate Change, NDRC.

Wang Shu, Deputy Chief from Department of Climate Change, NDRC, reported the progress of TNC in the year 2015 and the work plan in 2016 on behalf of the project office. Then subproject leaders introduced their project progress, the phased achievements respectively to the supervisor government sectors, the expert committees and other project related parties including NCSC, Tsinghua University, IAP, CAAS, FEEI, CRAES, CEINet Data Co.,Ltd.

Finally, Jiang Zhaoli, Deputy Director of the Department of Climate Change, NDRC, Liu Shijun，UNDP project manager in China office，Jiang Yingjin，representative of Ministry of Finance affirmed the received achievements and suggested subcontractors should arrange the project according to the schedule, and ensure to submit the first BUR successfully.
