On May 19,2016, the discussion meeting on amended Initial Biennial Update Report of TNC projects was held in Beijing. Related officials and experts from Department of Climate Change, NDRC, Energy Research Institute of NDRC, Foreign Economic Cooperation Office，Ministry of Environmental Protection, National Center for Climate Change Strategy and International Cooperation, National Climate Center, Tsinghua University, Institute of atmospherc Physics,Chinese Academy of Sciences, Institute of Environment and Sustainable Development in Agriculture,CAAS, Forest Ecology & Environment Institute of Chinese Academy of Forestry, Chinese Research Academy of Environment Sciences attended the meeting. It was presided over by Jiang Zhaoli, Deputy Director of the Department of Climate Change, NDRC.

During the meeting, the participants heard the  progress report of amended Initial Biennial Update Report of TNC projects and gave further advice and requirement on report structure, language skills,etc.

Finally, Jiang Zhaoli, Deputy Director of the Department of Climate Change, NDRC, affirmed the received achievements and suggested that working groups should improve the integrity and logicality of IBUR and ensure to submit it on time for its importance.
