On Aug16-17, 2016, the phase report on “GEF/UNDP - Enabling China to Prepare Its Third National Communication (TNC) Project” was held in Beijing．It was presided over by Jiang Zhaoli,Deputy Director of the Department of Climate Change,NDRC.Related officials and experts from National Development and Reform Commission(NDRC),Ministry of Foreign Affairs,Ministry of Science and Technology,National Bureau of Statistics，Ministry of Environment Protection,Ministry of Agriculture,China Meteorological Administration,Energy Research Institute of NDRC,National Standardization Technical Committee on Carbon Emissions,Tsinghua University,National Center for Climate Change Strategy and International Cooperation,Chinese Academy of Science,Chinese Academy of Agricultural Science and other agencies attended the meeting．

The project progress, achievements obtained, issues and next phase work plans of nine subprojects have been reported at the meeting. The experts discussed in depth around each subproject'sdata collecting methods and the project schedule.

At last, Mr. Jiang appreciated the compilation of each subproject 's work and suggested that each subject should modify report according to  suggestions given by experts and promote the project as planned.
